Toys ‘R’ Us Unveils Tabeo Tablet for Kids
Toys R Us unwraps a new 7-inch kid’s Android slate called the Tabeo, priced at $149.The Tabeo will be available only at Toys “R” Us,The tablet goes on sale Oct. 21, and pre-orders are now available online at Toysrus.com. Toys R Us also sells other electronics including Apple Inc.’s iPad, but this is its first store-brand tablet. The Tabeo’s main competitors are LeapFrog Enterprises’ LeapPad and VTech’s InnoTab.

Tabeo’s own native app store offering around 6,000 more application. It might mean that it is aimed at older kids than the previous tab’s six-year old and up target, but it better have some killer features for the younger set. The Toys “R” Us tablet Tabeo, more closely resembles an adult tablet.
