LG Optimus Vu Phone/Tablet may come with Verizon

The LG Optimus Vu, a 5-inch phone/tablet ( Phablet) similar to the popular Samsung Galaxy Note, is headed for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and will reportedly ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Verizon wireless customers yearning for their own phablet shouldn’t have to wait much longer, although exact availability date and price is still TBD.It is still not sure whether the version Verizon will get is the new Optimus Vu 2 or the original Vu.

The Optimus Vu by LG is a stylus-equipped LTEsmartphone featuring a 5-inch IPS LCD with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 1024 x 768 resolution. It runs Android 2.3 on a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, has 32GB of internal storage, and an 8-megapixel camera on the rear plus a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
